stepped into the ever-well-discussed Plymouth

Dear EW & JOCN,

How are you? I hope both of you are in the pink of health. *typical way to start of a letter* I am dead sure the word Plymouth has been ringing in our ears since we dont know when because our dear friend, FNH is there doing his TESL course. And at last, Vic and I stepped into this 'well known' place. We took a 4 hours train from Paddington London and then took a taxi to Fong's place.
For your information, when I was in the cab, I was thinking to myself, are we entering a forest? Reason? FNH's college is in the suburban are and you need to take either a bus or a cab to get to Plymouth city. Good for him! Lots of fresh air and nice green trees around for him!

Anyway, he brought us out for lunch the next day and ta daa.. Chinese buffet! It wasnt really great but value for money! So, I would say he made a 'good' choice by bringing us there. There's 2 main attractions in Plymouth, namely; The Hoe and the Barbican.

The Hoe
is what i called a small limestone cliff facing a few islands. The view here is breathtaking and Vic and I were busy jumping up and down, snapping a few shots while Fong and his friend, David were lazying around on the grass..

The next must-visit attraction is the Barbican, a harbour of Devon. Devon is one of the counties in England. I would say Barbican amazed me. I have been to the harbours and ports in Venice & Amsterdam but Barbican is a totally different story. I lost track when counting the number of yatchs and boats.

Seagulls are everywhere and you can see the fish swimming in the water..

Thats all about Plymouth! Got to pen off now and looking forward to meeting you soon.. =)

p/s: I can write letters in blogs, cant I? =)
